Sandy dunes under a hot sky, patrolled by Goombas and the first appearance of Piranha Plants lurking inside pipes. Watch your footing — some ground looks solid but drops away beneath you.
Never stand directly on top of a pipe — Piranha Plants won't emerge if you're on the lip.
A coin heaven area is accessible from the second pipe if you enter at the right moment.
