An overworld overrun with Piranha Plants at every pipe. Bullet Bill cannons are everywhere and the terrain is broken up by deep pits. Fire Mario is almost mandatory here.
Stand still next to a pipe for a Piranha Plant to retreat, then dash past before it re-emerges.
A hidden block above the third cannon cluster contains a 1-Up Mushroom.
